The Hervey Bay Seafood Festival is held at Fishermen’s Park at the Urangan Boat Harbour on the second Sunday in August every year.   It showcases  the magnificent wild catch seafood  that  is harvested from the pristine Fraser Coast waters  by the local commercial fishing industry.  Among the breathtaking array of  seafood is the famous Hervey Bay scallop, deep water king prawns and fish from the Great Sandy Straits.

This is where our men of the sea come ashore, where they have done for 150 years, on this day they cook their catch just for you.
