Slips & The F.W.’s are an eclectic collection of musicians from the Gold Coast and Brisbane who love to reignite the spark and charm of Old Time Blues, Jazz, Swing and Ragtime tunesfromthe1920’s and 1930’s. Taking influences from Clarence Williams, Blind Boy Fuller and Spencer Williams to name a few, Slips & The F.W.'s thrive on performing classic numbers and originals in their own unique way bringing a taste of New Orleans wherever they may roam.
The Pacific Belles
Pacific Belles are a 3-piece vocal group that sing old time tunes, and jingles. Dressed to the old-time era, they bring a touch of class to any event.
Sons of Leon
The Sons of Leon are a local (Maryborough) 3 piece, upbeat Jazz and Blues band that draw influences from artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, and Gary Clark Jnr.
Cigany Weaver
Fusing the passion of gypsy music, the precision of classical, and the spontaneity of jazz, 'Cigány Weaver' create a rich and vibrant atmosphere for both the heart and mind. Front woman, Jo Davie's soaring vocals and enchanting gentle demeanour combine with the fiery violin, dynamic guitars and driving rhythm section to create a purely acoustic group that effortlessly navigates the musical nexus between intimacy and raucousness.
